Prepare for the Interview
The interview process for Business Analysts and Associates typically includes up to two rounds of two 30-45 minute case interviews. Based on real cases, these are designed to help us get to know you better and to give you insight into what it’s like to work at Cornerstone.
Please apply using our online application. Once your application is received, we will review it and inform you if you are selected for an interview.
The online application requires the following:
• Cover letter (MS Word Doc or PDF files only)
• Resume/CV (MS Word Doc or PDF files only)
• Educational background information
• Relevant test scores (GMAT, GRE, and TOEFL)
The case interview presents a real business problem typical to what our project teams work to resolve every day: The interviewer will walk you through steps that may range from identifying a critical issue to breaking down a problem into parts, to identifying solutions.
These are not brainteasers designed to stump you but rather are based on real-world examples. There are no right answers, and this is not a test: We’re less interested in your knowledge of business terms, current events, and strategic frameworks than in getting to know how you work.
We’ll reflect how you approach the problem, how critically and creatively you think, how you use data, how well you communicate your ideas, and how you might go about implementing them.
